Whitehills to Inverness

We left late Tuesday morning (teenagers enjoy sleeping late!) with the tide, having to do a tight three point turn in the harbour while trying to catch it on the drone! We then sailed along the North East Coast and into the Moray Firth where we only had half a meter to spare under the keel in places - this was surprising, ships really have to plan their entrance carefully!

On the approach to Inverness, under the road bridge, Edin who was on bridge watch didn’t seem confident we’d fit under - we chanced it…and it must have been due to the low tide that we cleared it! We continued on to the entrance of the Caledonian Sea Lock and anchored off for a peaceful nights rest.
